About Me
I believe that understanding ourselves is one of the most important—and lifelong—journeys we can take. It asks for both courage and compassion. My role is to create thoughtful, supportive spaces where people can pause, reflect, make sense of their experiences and reconnect with themselves, others and the wider world.
For more than 25 years, I have been committed to my own personal development through trauma-informed bodywork, talking therapies, clinical supervision and coaching. This ongoing practice of self-awareness shapes how I work. I believe we can best support others when we are also willing to understand ourselves.
My approach is warm, relational and grounded in curiosity. I work from a humanistic, strengths-based and intersectional perspective, recognising that our lives are shaped not only by our individual experiences, but also by the relationships, communities and systems we are part of. Together, we explore both the detail of what is happening and the bigger picture, discovering what feels most important right now.
Born in Canada, of Welsh heritage, I spent much of my childhood living in Saudi Arabia within an international community. These experiences shaped my understanding of identity, belonging and difference. As a white, queer woman living with hidden disabilities, I continue to reflect on my own experiences of privilege and marginalisation and how they influence the way I meet others. This commitment to learning, humility and accountability is lifelong and informs everything I do.
Alongside my supervision, coaching and organisational work, I bring more than 20 years' experience of developing services, partnerships and organisations across the voluntary, public and higher education sectors. Much of my career has focused on supporting organisations working alongside people facing complex challenges and helping to create more inclusive, equitable and compassionate systems.
Outside of work, I find balance and inspiration in nature. I love wild swimming, walking, reading, creativity and sharing food with friends and family. I am also a proud partner and aunt.

My professional practice is underpinned by extensive postgraduate study and continuing professional development, including:

Governance & professional contribution
My consultancy practice is complemented by significant experience in governance and the voluntary sector. This has included serving as Vice-Chair of Welsh Women's Aid and Chair of its Governance Sub-group and EEDI Working Group, and as Co-Chair of Brighton Oasis.
I have also contributed to professional OD learning and practice, including presenting on EEDI and systems change.
Experience
Collaboration is central to my practice. I believe meaningful change happens through relationships, shared learning and bringing together different perspectives and forms of knowledge. Rather than offering answers from the outside, I work alongside people, communities and organisations to create spaces where knowledge, change and transformation can emerge together.
My experience includes:
Supervision and coaching
Trauma-informed reflective practice and facilitation
Cross-sector collaboration and systems change learning partner work
Leadership and organisational development
Strategic development and governance
Equity, diversity, inclusion and anti-racism programmes
Intersectional feminist and social justice practice
Violence against women and girls (VAWG)
LGBTQ+ inclusion and partnership working
Research, facilitation and programme design
I have worked with charities, universities, local authorities, health and social care organisations, and multi-agency partnerships to strengthen leadership, develop services, support research and create meaningful organisational and cultural change.
At the heart of everything I do is a belief that people and communities already hold wisdom, resilience and possibility. My role is not to provide all the answers, but to create the conditions where we can think, learn and grow together with courage, compassion and care.
